ESS Benefits Life Event adjsutment reason link not showing unless server or role change?

Our system is as follows:

SAP_BASIS 731 SP-Level 0007

EA-HR 607 SP-Level 0016

we are portal-less and only run NWBC for HTML 3.5.

 

When we have a Employee who reports a Life Event and a Benefits administrator assigns an adjustment reason the link is not showing in ESS unless we changed the server name in our URL (We have 3 servers) then the link would appear. We recently implemented SSO to our HR ESS/MSS environment and our URL became more generic therefore the server name is not an option to make the link appear now. So we have found if we make any change to the user record in SU01 like adding or removing a role then running PFUD and then the link will appear. We have tried having the user clear their cache in IE but that seems to have no effect.

 

The user logs in to ESS creates a life/work event then logs out. Benefits get notified of the change from an email via workflow.

The benefits administrator then adds an adjustment reason to the employee record in 0378 BN
Adjustment Reasons for Loss of Coverage (this should add another service under Life/Work Enrollment for Loss of Coverage)

 

The user then logs back into ESS and the link is not showing so we have the user logout.

 

We then change the users access (remove substitution role, etc.) and run PFUD (update profiles/access)

 

The user logs back into ESS and now the link is showing.

Has anyone had this issue? Seems to be some sort of refresh or something we are missing?
