All data and query results are in Q1 sheet only. W1 consist of only formulas. These formulas read data from the data area of Q1. You run the query in the Q1 sheet (tab), and then click on the W1 sheet to see the calculations. If I make a query in Q1 that has no data, the formulas in W1 are immediately changed to have #REF in them. Tjhere is no way to get the formulas back to what they were except to log out and log back in to get the last saved workbook with the original formulas in W1, and the last saved good query in Q1.
By the way, I do have other workbooks with queries of same design. When query has no results, the caculationls show zeroes and #NAs, which are correct. Then, when the query is changed to have results, the calculations are good. I need to know what is wrong with the workbook I am having problems with.
