You are correct the the standard FIFO logic works on the GR date/ Manufacturing date. Here your requirement is quite different than that. You want to consume the batches as per certain sequence in was placed in the silo or in other words issued to production. May be multiple batches are staged on same date so staging date may not be correct criteria.

You try to build your design on this idea. I hope you are doing transfer posting from store to silo or staging the material in silo via 311. Define a new batch characteristic for the sequence. While staging assign staging sequence a running number to the batches using this char..use this characteristic in you batch determination by sorting appropriately.
