How did you check that events are not updated in Audit DB?
In order to troubleshoot the issue, you can test the following:
1. Do you have the issue with all events?
2. Are audit files empty? (under: <INSTALLDIR>/sap_bobj/data/Auditing/ (Unix, Linux and AIX) or
<INSTALLDIR>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Auditing (Windows)
3.Enable traces on CMS then check if there are errors
