You need to maintain this in master data.
For example for vendor master if you want to maintain the telephone number for communication method TEL, go to >>change vendor master address MK02/XK02 >>communication >> click on other communication>>double click on communication method TEL>>maintain the telephone number and save it.
Now you can see this entry saved in table ADR2.
