In relation to this scenario the first thing I would recommend is to reproduce the scenario and capture a default trace file for the affected user to see what underlying operations of the system are taking place.
In the trace look for any errors associated with the UWL and attach some screenshots here.
Secondly kindly follow the steps outlined below and update me as per your findings:
- Log on to the portal
- Go to your main UWL iview
- Next to the link Hide Preview click on the dropdown
- From within the dropdown click on Display connection status
- Please send me a screenshot of this information.
