I have a scenario where a company has to enter in prodution with asset date 31.12.2013.
The First Asset(As for now Controlled in Excel Sheet) will enter in 01.01.2014 and will get their depreciation made until i.e 31.10.2014.
I will set the asset transfer Data in 31.12.2013 and enter the asset in 01.01.2014 in AS91 transaction.
The second Asset Wave Will come in 30.11.2014, those assets will be inheritance from another company, because the company is passing by a spin-off. The shareholders are splitting the company in 2 and some assets will continue in the original company and others will be migrated to the new company.
As i fixed the date of asset migration i will not be able to enter the assets by transaction AS91 in 30.11.2014, i cannot enter them in AS01 because i need to enter the Original acquisition value and the accumulated depreciation values.
Questions:
1) Can i enter the asset data transfer in 01.01.2014, run the deprecation until 10/2014. Then change the asset migration date, period depreciated and then after that load the asset wave2 data in 11.2014 in AS91?
2) Is there another way that i can do this?
