Hi,
I am using SAP standard BAPI "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" to create a Sales order with reference to a Value contract.
I get this hard error:
E V2 123 Target value of value contract has been exceeded
Purposefully we maintained 'B- Error message if target value is exceeded' in VOV7 screen for the item category. This is business requirement.
In reality the Sales order did not exceed the value contract target value. When I checked the same transaction manually in VA01 it works fine.
What we figured out so far is that the BAPI is looking at the VK13 condition records (which is higher than value contract target value and hence the above error) but not manual pricing that gets copied from the Value contract.
In our pricing procedure we have this sequence:
- PR00 coming into Sales order from VK13 - this should remain as inactive in BAPI but looks like BAPI is considering PR00 as active and picking it to compare with Value contract target value.
- ZPRA a manual pricing condition that gets copied from the Value contract.
Did anyone face this issue? Why BAPI is considering VK13 condition records and not manual pricing conditions that are copied from Value contract.
