Suggest to ask new questions in new threads - by all means link to the old thread.
One reason is that the reward system (we all answer for free here) only rewards one answer.
Another reason is that answers become unrelated, and will be difficult to find for other people having a similar question.
Another reason is that forum threads are not supposed to be for general step by step walkthroughs, but for specific questions and/or discussions around a single topic.
Onto BOR objects: They encapsulate business logic and business data into a single entity. You need to define your container element as an object and either assign the values as you are currently doing or by using something like How to instantiate BOR object in workflow to instantiate it.
Please understand I would like to help but there is way too much info to cover in a single thread and your questions cover pretty much everything about 'how do I do workflow'. It's great that you're trying and asking really good questions, but I think you'll get ahead quicker if you have a go through the tutorial in the SAP help at: Workflow Developer - SAP Business Workflow - SAP Library to get the basics around objects and binding and the likes and come back with even better and more specific questions.
