According to the error log, this may be related to the network connection between your system and target system, also check the connection to your DNS system, make sure there were no changes in your DNS system.
Adding a hostfile entry may eliminate this issue in future, if its a DNS related issue.
In order to get a process server alert, you need an alerting module.
